Croutons from Our French White Mix

To eat the day you make them. These croutons are Excellent. Your family will be munching on them all day!

  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • Cut left over bread into 3/4 in. cubes
  • Toast in the oven for 15 min. (Turn Ocassionally)
  • Remove toasted cubes from oven and pour the butter/olive oil blend on top
  • Eat and enjoy or toast for a few more minutes if you want a more toasted crouton


Butter/Olive Oil blend to Use Over Croutons

  • use 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup olive oil for one loaf of bread cubes.
  • Add any Italian herbs and salt to taste. (Or use Tone's Italian seasoning that has salt in it)
  • Stir.
  • Pour over hot, toasted bread cubes. See Crouton steps above
  • Retoast if you like a firmer crouton.
